Benefits of Coffee Enemas
May 06, 2022
I get how weird this may sound, or maybe it doesn't sound weird at all.
I mean the more I get into truly caring and loving my body, I will do some of the weirdest and most uncomfortable things to keep my soul home primed and healthy.
I first heard about enemas when I was really young. I would spend the night at my cousin's house and my aunt would let us watch the movie, Sybil.
It was a really strange movie and was based on a true story about child abuse and deep psychological scars... perfect for young impressionable girls. LOL
The star, Sally Field, was so traumatized that she ended up with schizophrenia and having 16 different personalities.
One of the things her mother would do was force her child to take enemas as a form of punishment.
From a very young, I thought enemas were just that, punishment.
I always wondered if people were actually punished by doing enemas.
Anyway, I get how the thought of putting something voluntarily up your butt, is disturbing enough.
Thankfully when I saw the Truth About Cancer Docu-series, in 2016 it gave me a whole new way to look at enemas.
Multiple doctors in the series mentioned coffee enemas as being one of the most incredible ways to support the body.
I learned that they are known as one of the best ways to clean the liver, so much so that the Gerson Institute
has made coffee enemas famous, and a popular way to help the body heal.
If you aren't familiar with the Gerson Institute, it was founded in 1978, to spread awareness of the Gerson Therapy, which naturally reactivates your body’s magnificent ability to heal itself – with no damaging side effects, like radiation, chemotherapy, and other conventional ways of "treating" illness and disease.
The methods they use are all about supporting the body’s own immune system to heal cancer, arthritis, heart disease, and allergies.
According to the Gerson Institute, the primary purpose is for coffee enemas “remove toxins accumulated in the liver and remove free radicals from the bloodstream.”
The Gerson Institute has proven that when the body is detoxified and given the nutrition it needs, it will heal itself.
If I or one of my family members were ever diagnosed with any major disease or illness, this is where we would go.
Okay, so why do coffee enemas if you aren't suffering from a major disease or illness?
Well, evidence has shown that coffee enemas can help to:
- repair digestive tissue
- cleanse the liver
- improve blood circulation
- increase immunity
- help with cellular regeneration
- relieve digestive issues, such as frequent constipation, bloating, cramping and nausea.
- improve gut health
- improve low energy levels and moods (such as fighting signs of depression)
They also help the body flush out bacteria, heavy metals, fungus, and yeast.
So how exactly do they work?
Well here is the thing, studies on coffee enemas have proven that when you do just one coffee enema, the production of glutathione
, the mother of all antioxidants
, by the body goes up 600-700 percent greater than normal!!
Supplementing glutathione is expensive and many brands out there are not bio-available to the body since you must have many other co-factors, like NAC, present to actually absorb it.
Coffee enemas actually stimulate the body's ability to make its own glutathione which is SO amazing!
There is a lot of information out there about coffee enemas, so go down the rabbit hole!
Don't just take my word for it!
So if you want to learn how to do a coffee enema, do your research, ask your naturopathic doctor, and discover for your bio-individual self if this practice will serve you and your health!
Personally, this practice has helped me so much so I had to share it here!
In love and light,
